How to book live performance tickets via eplus and pick them up at the conbini!

A couple of days before leaving for Japan, I looked up a couple of artists I like to see if they were doing any performances soon that I'd be able to go to. To my excitement I stumbled across NT.NIGHT, which is hosted at Sanrio Puroland and features several artists including JASMINE, CREAM and the CYBERJAPAN DANCERS group. (Sorry for all the caps, that's just how they style themselves. :P )

The ticketing process was through eplus, which is apparently one of the major ticket sales companies in Japan.

I decided to sign up as a member first so that any potential purchasing would be quicker later.

eplus application:
Top left → はじめての方
Scroll down to bottom left → 会員登録
Choose your type of email address (Japanese phone or normal PC address)
Press the yellow button to agree to the terms
Then fill out the following page:

You have to enter at least 1 phone number; it didn't accept my UK mobile number as a mobile phone, but it did allow it as a house phone.

My non-Japanese Mastercard wasn't accepted so I looked at the nearest convenience stores to my dorm and chose Family Mart.

When you order tickets via the conbini/ATM method, you need to collect and pay for the tickets within the time frame they specify (seems to be two days, as I ordered just after midnight (Japanese time) on the 6th, and had to pick up by 9pm on the 8th of September. Before midnight it was showing 'by 9pm on the 7th').

Once you submit, they will send you an email confirming your membership (you don't need to click anything to prove the email is correct), and you can proceed to add events and artists to your favourites and book tickets!

Buying/reserving a ticket:

When you've found an event you like and clicked for more details, you can scroll down to the order section:

The top part tells you what tickets are still available (circle = all good; triangle = few remaining; cross = sold out).

The next part allows you to pick the event's time and day, seat type, and number of tickets, followed by a captcha.

On the left below this you can sign in using the ID (phone number or email) you chose during sign-up, or if you haven't signed up yet you can click the button on the right.

After you've confirmed the details and your order has gone through, you will receive a couple of emails with the order code you need to collect your tickets. You can also click a button on the right (I think) to see a simple chart with the details and what to do when you reach the collection point.

If you missed this button, don't worry as the email they send also tells you the flow of which buttons to press and when to put in your order code!

Collecting your tickets from Family Mart's 'Famiport':

First you need to find a Family Mart (which probably won't be too difficult! and find their Famiport, which looks like this:

The process was actually a little bit different to what eplus wrote; it was similar but actually slightly simpler. XD You didn't need to specifically select 'eplus' out of the options, just press 'next' then put in your code.

It then spits out a ticket, which you take to the person at the counter and pay (my card was fine here, BTW, though it hasn't worked in a few other places). They'll then print off your ticket itself, and you're done!

Yaaay, ticket! They even put it in a nice little envelope for you. ♥
